WDVL is: “Fredonia’s Blue Devil Radio.” With it’s humble beginning as WCVF ROCK600 am, WDVL eventually broke free and established an identity all it’s own. WDVL is a commercial radio station that is a direct outlet to on-campus students through broadcast via the campus cable network (television channel 5); and webcasting onwww.FredoniaRadio.com. Also, WDVL is the oldest radio station in the SUNY system. WDVL has taken to provide an effective learning environment for those interested in pursuing a career in the ever changing broadcast industry. WDVL broadcasts the nationally renowned student program, High Noon Friday which is a segment based variety program with content provided by students of SUNY Fredonia’s Intermediate Audio Production Class taught by Dr. Laura Johnson.
